here is the story behind the drawing...
This drawing is inspired by, and dedicated to a really huge teddy bear who had has been a shoulder to cry on at certain times of my life. Wierd as it may be, that bear had has been a real consolation for me when the going got rough.
So, this bear and I was living at my older cousins apartment all through my university years, then I moved out. The bear stayed...
On my latest visit to my cousin's, I figured out that she wanted to get rid of the bear, give it away to someone or something.. I really wanted bear to stay, or at least take it home myself, but my hands were tied because i felt i didn't have the say on such matters since I didn't live there anymore and I wasn't able to take it myself at that moment
So.. I just had to let the bear go... Then I felt terrible.. But it was too late, the bear was gone.. God knows where! I didn't even ask about it, I repent that I didn't figure out a way to keep it.
That is what triggered that drawing although I have to make it clear that the bear in the drawing does not resemble the one mentioned here, and I do not consubstantiate myself with the mermaid
I must let you know one last thing; later on i went to visit my other cousin and when I got to her apartment I figured out that she wanted to keep the bear when she heard that her sister (my older cousin) wanted to give the bear away I was so happy when I saw the bear there
So that's it... I followed 's advice and brought the story across...
the story behind the drawing is that, there was a really huge teddy bear at my cousin's house and she wanted to get rid of it, i wanted to keep it but couldn't do anything so it was gone.. this occasion inspired this drawing because i used to live there while i was going to university and there were times that i really found comfort and consolation in that bear (weird ha!) so i was attached to it but i didn't feel that i had a say on that matter because i didn't know what to make with that bear incase i told my cousin to keep it ( i wasn't able to take it home at that time) so there i was thinking that my old friend was gone and feeling blue, drawing this...a few days later i figured out that my other cousin took the bear to her home i was so happy!
long story ha it is kind of complicated.. and the bear do not resemble this one at all! and i do not consubstantiate myself with the mermaid, but still..this is how it came out

what's beyond the mirror?? sometimes i wanna be there, on the other side...
Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
DeviantArt is full of extremely well produced artistic fashion and fine art photographs. Make up. Styling. Creation of scenery. Story. Light. Glamour. A combination of these expressions sometimes make up a great photograph. But the protagonists of these pictures are usually female.
So... now it's the time for male models to come into focus.

How to get comments, watches, your work scene, commented on, critiqued, and what you have to do. These are some of the things which I have learned since joining more than 4 1/2 years ago.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
